Finger On The Trigger / 9. The Maker / 10. Just Dance "My goal for this CD was to make a connection, in some small way, with the forgotten few of this world and try and give an inside glimpse to their beautiful and sometimes dark lives. I've tried to stay as close as possible to my original vision on this record, trying not to be swayed by the constant reminders from "Evil Minions" that we need a single, this might be too dark, or the "F" word is too offensive. My only hope is that this music will help comfort the distressed, and distress the comfortable, then, and only then will it truly be a success!" - Brandon Jenkins |

BRANDON JENKINS Unmended Brandon Jenkins didnt become one of Oklahomas best singer/songwriters overnight. For more than a decade Brandon has been making a name for himself touring throughout the United States and Europe and recording 5 CDs in the process. Jenkins has also received several acknowledgements for his musical talent and ability including three nominations for The Spot Music Awards, and most recently winning the national Jim Beam B.E.A.M. grant. Jenkins music seems to reach beyond any one type of classification. Americana, Alternative-Country, Folk, Rock, and Blues are all categories that his diversity allows him to be a part of and yet he continues to stand on his own. Soulful, poetic, rowdy, and fun; Jenkins explores all these things and more, sometimes simultaneously, and does it without the least bit of pretension. He writes music the way its supposed to be, real stories about the heart of living framed by an acoustic guitar. LISTEN - MP3 Clip! My Feet Don't Touch the Ground |

BRANDON JENKINS Faded 1996 release. "This isn't any poser working the Americana angle here...But even with all the heartfelt love songs he sings, he is still an outlaw on the fringes of folk and country, a renegade not givin' a shit, yet givin' more of a shit about the music than those bubbleheads in Nashville who have killed the soul of country music, at least on mainstream radio anyway." BRANDON JENKINS The Ghost of Jesse James 1998 release. "Where listeners should start if they want to know the heart and soul of this passionate Okie songwriter. After defining and redefining his sound, from hat-wearing country rocker to shaven head urban folkster, Jenkins finds himself closer to Steve Earle than Garth Brooks. New York might call Jenkins country, but Nashville wouldn't. -Oklahoma Gazette For more info check out www.brandonjenkins.net |

BRANDON JENKINS Live At the Blue Door 2000 release. "With the swagger of predecessors such as Ray Wylie Hubbard and Waylon Jennings, Brandon opens these proceedings with his own brand of church on "Gideon's Bible," a fun country rock celebration, before settling into fourteen more songs that show his versatile songwriting and performing style that is as real as it gets in music today...Brandon isn't "singing country" as much as he is "singing Okie" which is to say he is simply singing his life." -Greg Johnson, The Blue Door For more info check out www.brandonjenkins.net LISTEN - MP3 Clip!
